Birthday CupCake Nail Art!

Hi everyone! Today is my 14th birthday! I am pre writing this right now because I when this goes live I will probably be doing something awesome! For my birthday I did two different manis. This one and then other that is more of a swatch like that you will be seeing tomorrow! But for today I did birthday cupcake nails! I used Nails Inc Sweets Way and Pudding Lane! Before we get into the nail art lets start with the base polishes themselves. Pudding Lane required 2 coats and with both polishes you have to be patience and wait for both of them to dry fully before adding another coat. You dont want clumps of sparkles everywhere! Sweets Way required 3 coats. Glitter coverage was good and I didn't have to dab.

All products used were bought with my own money!
For the nail art I used acrylic paint and for the design I used a base coat and a topcoat to make sure it would last for a few days. So that is all I have for you today! Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow! :D -Zoe

Layla Flash Black Swatch

Hello! Good evening! I am so glad it is Friday, not that it really matters because I am on summer vacation, but Friday is always a good day! What do you have planned for your weekend? Tomorrow is my 14th birthday (YAY!) so I will be busy with that! I will have a blog post for you showing you my birthday nails version 1! But today I have a holo swatch for you! Out of my entire collection I only have 2 holos so I really like this polish, Layla's Flash Black!

This isn't a picture that I took in direct light, but I think it shows off the shaded side of the holo really well! If you think this is cool the direct light version is even better! For this swatch I did not use a base coat or topcoat. With most holos they say to use a ridge filling base coat to get rid of ridges in nails because holos like to show those off, but I did not have a problem with that! I did not buff my nails either before this swatch. For this polish to become opaque I used 3 coats and like most holos they can drag and become patchy! That is all I have for today, do you have any Layla holos? How do you like them? Thanks for reading and talk to you tomorrow! -Zoe :D

It took 2-3 coats with no base coat or top coat added. There isn't much to say about this polish, I do like it, but it isnt "my" color.
Thank you for reading and enjoy the rest of your night! -Zoe

Sinful Colors Cloud 9

Hi! So you may remember that I said I was done with swatching my Sinful Color's collection. Well, I am but I forgot to post this so here this is! This polish is Sinful Color's Cloud 9. I really dislike the color. The formula is okay. I can not remember the exact amounts of coats this polish took to become opaque. I would say that Cloud 9 is a retro orange with a slight shimmer to it. For this swatch I do not have a base coat or top coat on. What do you think about it? Would you wear this orange? Thank you for reading and I will be back tomorrow for another forgotten nail polish swatch! -Zoe

I bought this polish with my own money.

Zoya Blaze and Storm Swatches

Hello! Today is my mom's birthday so I am busy with that, but I wanted to post these swatches of two more Zoya's from the Ornate collection, Blaze and Storm. Blaze is a dark red holo with pink tones to it and Storm is a black holo. Both only took two coats and had great application! It also turns out that they have a great holo as well! :D For the swatches I did not use a base or top coat and the photos were taken in direct natural light!

Polishes were bought with my own money!
Thank you for reading and I will see you tomorrow with some odds and ends posts that I forgot to publish awhile ago! Lol Bye! -Zoe

I bought this polish with my own money.
I had no application issues and I only used 2 coats! Also I did not use a base coat or a top coat for this swatch. Overall I really like this polish and it is a great base for some holiday nail art! What do you think about it? Thanks for reading and I will talk to you tomorrow with another Zoya swatch! -Zoe

Hello hello my readers! Sorry for no post yesterday! I can't wait to get the purple PixieDust from their fall collection! Purple is one of my favorite colors! (Besides blue and green!)

(I purchased this polish with my own money!)
I think my photo shows off the texture and color pretty well! Beatrix took 2 coats with good application and it had an overall good texture! For this photo I used natural light with no base or top coat! So do you have any texture polishes? How do you like them? Also please follow me on Twitter and Instagram for more updates! Link in the sidebar! Thanks for reading and I hope you have an amazing Sunday! -Zoe :D

Zoya Robyn Swatch

Hello! I would just like to say welcome to my first three followers! I very much appreciate you and you three now give me a reason to blog! Please leave feedback and things you want to see on my blog in the feature in the comment box below! Just a little introduction of myself, I am Zoe and I am 13 years old (going to be 14 in 8 days!!!!) and I got into nail polish when I was 10 or so! I have a Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest for my blog so those links are in the sidebar! So for today I am beginning to swatch my Zoya Collection! For my first color I swatched Zoya's Robyn.

Robyn is a dark sky blue, but it is very bright! Not neon, but bright! It took 2 coats and it was a bit patchy on the first coat but a second smoothed it all out! For my picture Robyn is shown in a light box with natural light from my window! Also I am not wearing a base coat or a top coat and this polish I bought with my own money! This is definitely my favorite sky blue! What is your favorite sky blue polish? Thanks for reading and I will have another Zoya swatch tomorrow! -Zoe

Sinful Colors Nirvana

Good Thursday afternoon everyone! How has your day been? Mine has been pretty good, just painting nails!  Today I have for you a swatch of Sinful Color's Nirvana. I am pretty sure this is my last polish in my Sinful Colors collection! Then I will be moving onto swatching my Zoya's for you! This color I really do not like. Just something about it! It took 2 or 3 coats, I can't remember. The formula is thin, sheer, and watery. It also kind of smells bad. Nirvana is a plain brown creme. Nothing special. Also for this swatch I did not use a basecoat or a topcoat.

When I got this I was first starting my polish collection and I decided I needed every color from the rainbow and then the neutrals. I then decided it would a good idea to buy from a cheaper brand to save money. Just no! I haven't used this color since that day almost 2 ish years ago! Make sure you do your research before buying a polish! Have a good night! -Zoe
P.S. I bought this with my own money! :D

Sinful Colors Frenzy Swatch

Hello! Good Monday morning! Hope your weekend was nice! Today and for the next two days I will be finishing swatching for you my small Sinful Colors collection. Today I have for you a purple glitter by the name of Frenzy. For the photos below I used 1 coat. Like the other glitters I have by Sinful Colors I am not a fan because the base for the glitter is of a watery consistency which makes the polish hard to control. Also the glitter in Frenzy is sparse and tiny. Like I mentioned before Frenzy is made up of many different colors of purple, some light and some dark. There is also a mix of small blue glitter in it as well. Also I used a base coat but no top coat. What do you think of it? Would you by it? Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow! -Zoe

*Polish was bought with my own money, not provided for review.

Sinful Colors Swatches

Good Sunday afternoon to everyone! Today I have swatches of three Sinful Color's polishes. They are San Francisco, Happy Ending and Call You Later. Happy Ending is on the top two fingers and then San Francisco is on the bottom two. Happy Ending required three coats and is quite sheer. It is a light grass green with a yellow shimmer. San Francisco required three coats as well and it is also sheer. It has a lighter green shimmer to it. For these swatches I used a base coat, but no top coat.

I then took Call You Later and put it over each of the colors in one coat. The glitter is sparse in some areas with the polish it is in being watery. The glitter in Call You Later is very fine and comes in many different greens. Overall I am not a fan of these just because of how many coats they take to become opaque. Do you have any colors by Sinful Colors? Do you like them? -Zoe

Rimmel Night Before Swatch

Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday! I hope you all have awesome plans for this weekend! I just plan on working out and doing my nails! Today I have a swatch of Rimmel's Night Before. This polish has a shorter and a bit fatter brush which takes some getting used to. For the picture below it is taken in a light box. I also used a base coat with no top coat for this swatch. It kinda reminds me of Max Factor Fantasy Fire which I also have. You can see the orange shift near the cuticles and in the bottle. There is not much else to say about this polish... so yeah! Talk to you guys tomorrow! :D -Zoe

Essie Borrowed and Blue Swatch

Hello! Welcome to Friday! Today I have a quick swatch of Essie's Borrowed and Blue. I love this blue! It is just the perfect baby blue! For this swatch I used 2 thin coats and 1 thicker. The polish itself is thin after you wipe off your brush from the extra polish anyway. For the last coat I used a bit of a thicker coat and then the polish become runny and you had to watch it to make sure it didn't flood your cuticles as you applied it! Overall I love this polish no matter what the formula! I should have 1 or 2 more posts today so keep and eye out for those! Thanks for reading on this Friday! -Zoe

In a lightbox, no topcoat or basecoat

Barry M Cobalt Blue Swatch with Sparkle!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a good Thursday morning! School ended yesterday so I will now begin to swatch my entire nail polish collection for you! I have always wanted to do this so now I have all the time that I need! Today we will be starting off with my two Barry M's. These were sent to me because I won a giveaway! The two polishes are Cobalt Blue and Jewel Britannia. They both had nice formulas and went on very easy! Jewel Britannia has a very Fourth of July feel to it so I am sure I will be using it next month! Cobalt Blue took two coats but I am very sure you could get away with just one. For Jewel Britannia I used just one coat! That is all for today I will talk to you tomorrow! Bye!
